What is the future of E-business? What can we learn looking back at the evolution of E-business, software and hardware? What will the Enterprise IT landscape look like in 2014? What are the key technologies that will drive out cost and deliver business agility? What role do standards have in perfecting the "Plug and Play Business"? What skills will this evolution in IT demand from IT professionals? In this talk we look forward ten years and outline the dramatic impact of utility computing and service-oriented architectures on the IT landscape and the way that they will help to deliver the "Business Internet - a thicker, limited access utility. The Business Internet will deliver optimized business decisions and rapid execution of business decisions, and will help to realize ultimate business efficiency. We will discuss what we at Oracle are doing to realize this vision.
