Awards were presented to the following individuals at the September meeting at Malone College. From Left: David Chema, Mary Jane Scruggs, Carol Hosier and David Lisle

Carol Hosier received her Bronze IPA award for having achieved 100 points in service to the AITP Organization. Carol came to AITP from ASM in 1996 where she was a member since 1992. She is currently serving her 6^th consecutive year as an Akron board member. She served as secretary for 3 years and is currently serving as our Chapter President. She has worked on various committees including, newsletter, membership and hospitality.

David Chema and David Lisle both received their gold IPA awards having reached 200 points. Dave Chema has been a member of the Akron Chapter since 1994. He has served 2 years as our Chapter President. He is currently serving his 9^th consecutive year as an Akron board member. He is serving his 4^th term as Akron Chapter Secretary and his 5^th year as Region Director for our chapter. He has served on the Region Conference committees in 1995 and 1998 and chaired the Education Committee for 2 years.

Dave Lisle came to AITP from ASM in 1996 where he was a member since 1981. He has served 2 years as our Chapter President. He is currently serving his 7^th consecutive year as an Akron board member. He has chaired the Program Committee for 3 years and is the Chairman of the 50^th Anniversary committee. He also served on the Region Conference committee in 1998.

Mary Jane Scruggs received her Emerald award by achieving 300 points. Mary Jane has been a member of the Akron Chapter since 1989 and is currently serving her 8^th year as an Akron board member. She chaired the membership committee for 4 years and is currently serving as Awards Chairman. She served on the Region Conference committees in 1995 and 1998. She has also served as Region 18 Secretary for the last 5 years.
