Text Box: Lifetime Gold Award Presented   Darlene Gerber, Region 18 President presents Lifetime Gold Award to Paul Jeremiah II Paul E. Jeremiah II, member of the Akron AITP Chapter, received his Lifetime Gold Award at the Chapter’s 50th anniversary meeting, held at the Tangier in Akron Ohio on October 28, 2003. Paul has been a member of AITP since 1970. He has earned 900 Individual Performance Award points. He is currently serving his 30th year as a Chapter Director. He served as Chapter President in 1977, and as Chapter Secretary. He is currently the Student Chapter Coordinator and Assistant Treasurer. He has served the Akron Chapter on many committees over the years. Paul served Region 18 as Region President in 1992 and 1993. He served as Region Director representing the Akron Chapter for 10 years. He served on the Region Merger Committee in 1992 when Region 10 and 8 were combined to make Region 18. Paul Chaired the Region Conference Committees in 1995 and 1998 and worked on various other Region Committees.    Frieda Jeremiah, Paul’s mother, who just celebrated her 100th birthday, was in the audience to see Paul receive his award.

Text Box: Awards Presented Awards were presented at the Akron AITP Chapter’s monthly meeting at the Tangier on October 28, 2003. Dora Dirrman received her Bronze Individual Performance Award (IPA) or having achieved 100 points in service to the AITP Organization. Dora has been a member of AITP since 1993. She served 5 years as an Akron board member. She served on the Membership committee for 6 years, 4 of which she chaired the committee. She served on the Region Conference committees both in 1995 and 1998. She has continued her membership even though she has moved out of state. Jackie Roth received her silver IP Award having reached 150 points. Jackie came to our Chapter from ASM in 1996 where she was a member since 1982. She has served 3 years as an Akron board member. Jackie chaired the Calling committee for 3 years and is currently serving her 3rd year as Membership chair. She is also serving a 4th year as Audit committee chair. She served on the Region Conference committee in 1998 as Auditor.   The two award recipients chatting.
